Plymouth- It’s closer than you think!
Plymouth Globe Backpackers is housed in a mid-19th century grand 4 storey Victorian mansion town house very near to the seafront. Located just five minutes walk from the ferry port where boats leave for Roscoff, France and Santander, Spain, and just ten minutes walk from both train and bus stations. The hostel is close to all amenities and a short stroll to the famous Barbican waterfront with restaurants, pubs and clubs, the Mayflower Steps (departure point of Pilgrim Fathers to The New World) and City centre.
Plymouth offers easy access to excursions on to Dartmoor, the Tamar River, local boat trips, sailing and walking the coastal paths can be arranged from Plymouth. In addition, top bands and pop acts play Plymouth, and many plays and musicals debut in the City of Plymouth before hitting London Theatre-land.
