We are a small family business and like many others we have been hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. We can currently only offer restricted staffing hours. We appreciate your support in these uncertain times.
It would help us to get back on our feet if people booked via FreeToBook on our website as we do not get charged commission on this booking platform. It all helps! Thank you.
BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
To make a booking we will require your debit or credit card details including the 16-digit card number, the expiry date and the 3-digit number on the back as we take payment for the first night at the time of the booking which is non-refundable.
Credit card information should not be sent via email, so the preferred method of booking is for you to telephone us on +44 (0)1392 215521 between 8.30am and 12 noon or 3.30pm and 10pm (GMT). Beds cannot be reserved until payment is received.
A mobile number and a rough time of arrival would be useful.
ID Required
Please remember to bring photo ID (passports, country ID cards, driver’s license and valid student cards etc.
Restricted Reception Hours
Check in: 15.30 - 1900 hours only currently. Alternative time by special arrangement only.
Check out: By 11.00am on the day of departure.
Refund Policy
There will be no refund for the first night of any stay or for weekend bookings. 48 hours’ notice is required for refund of any subsequent nights.
Weekly bookings: 100% paid in advance on a non-refundable basis.
Group bookings: A group is 6 or more persons and this includes bookings via other platforms such as HostelWorld.
Groups: 25% non-refundable deposit to be paid at the time of the booking. Balance to be paid on or prior to arrival.
Security Bonds
We reserve the right to ask for a £20 per person cash security bond to be levied on arrival with Reception. In the event of anti-social behaviour, and after one warning, £40 will be deducted from this bond each time the Duty Manager has to intervene. You will be notified if this bond is to be applied to your group when your booking is confirmed.
Stags and Hens
We do not accept Stag or Hen groups, and any such bookings found to be made under false pretenses will be terminated without recompense.
Right of Refusal
We reserve the right to refuse accommodation to any person or persons intoxicated and/or behaving in an anti-social manner.
